Continuum of Care: Remote Surgical Followup
This child with schizencephaly and a G-tube presented with an oozing ostomy site and a peeling erythematous thumb. He had a temperature of 100.3 and was irritable and congested. Instead of sending the family on a 2-hour drive, the Primary Care Provider consulted using iClickCare. Treatment was advised and the distressed family was able to remain in their hometown.
