Telemedicine reimbursement continues to progress!

As of January 1, 2010, skilled nursing facilities using telemedicine software such as ClickCare can now take advantage of extended Medicare billing codes.

The telehealth codes G0406-G0408 previously used for patients in an inpatient hospital setting have been extended to include followup services for skilled nursing facilities.
