New email notification feature!
We’ve just added a subtle, yet exciting improvement to ClickCare’s automatic notification email.
The body of the automatic notification email now includes the notifying provider and organization names, and is fully customizable.
You don’t need to do anything in order to take advantage of this feature — it’s already working for you. You’ll notice the next time you receive an automatic notification email, it will look pretty much the same, except it will list the name and organization of the person who sent you the email. That’s it! This is an added-value feature that we have added free of charge based on popular demand.
Beyond that, if you would like to further customize the content of the email, here’s how:
(1) Log in as a user with Admin privileges.
(2) Go to the Admin Tools area and click on the Organization Prefs tab.
(3) Under Email Template, you will see the standard text for the notification email. Feel free to edit this as you wish for your organization.
(4) You’ll notice there are two special entries at the end of the first line: <<provider_name>> and <<org_name>>. When an email is sent out, these placeholders will be replaced by the actual name and organization name of the person who sends the notification. As you customize the email, you can move these placeholders to other places in the email, or remove either of them altogether.
Please let us know if you have any questions about this free new feature.
