About Us
Meet the physicians who founded ClickCare in 1995, used it first in pediatrics and now in Home Health. Please contact us with your needs.
Cheryl B. Kerr, MD, FAAP, ClickCare's founding pediatrician, set up the first telemedicine link between school based health centers and a pediatrician’s office. She developed this multidisciplinary office into a model for one level of quality care. Trained at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, she has long been committed to innovation in medical teaching and the development of multimedia telecommunications.
Lawrence P. Kerr, MD, FACS, ClickCare's CEO, is a highly regarded specialty surgeon. He has worked extensively to care for children with congenital anomalies, as well as surgical trauma patients. Since his work in New York and at the University of Pennsylvania, he has continued to be an innovator, inspiring teacher and community leader. He is passionate about collaboration improving healthcare, about generalists collaborating with specialists, and about using technology for the benefit of the patients.
ClickCare, LLC was started in upstate New York in 1995 and is now supported throughout the world by multiple physicians and nurses, information services executives and developers, and innovative engineers and consultants. Archives have been expanding since 2001 with the availability of digital cameras. Medical students and pediatricians are enthusiastic about seeing each other's multimedia teaching cases and about getting help from subspecialists. Interest in ClickCare continues to grow because of the need for the increase in collaboration -- designed by healthcare providers for healthcare providers.
